To understand the true Self, one must first face their own inner shadow, the unconscious

…”To understand the true Self, one must first face their own inner shadow, the unconscious, the part of us which is not known. We all know that there are forces within us lead by emotions, which cause us to react as unconscious actions, until we notice our own patterns our true self will continue to allude us. We have all done something we later regretted, yet most will tend not to look at these unconscious behaviors. We suppress IT and in turn let the darkness grow within, allowing IT to work through us without our knowing, more often then not leading us down a path of self destruction. A person who has not faced their own inner shadow is only a person living with half the view, for the path to the real you is through embracing the whole spectrum of being. There are many paths or techniques to facing our shadow, different paths work for different people. Find the path that resonates with you to access the key, but the key only opens the inner doorway, the work of looking within still needs to BE done by you, and that is your true Divine Moment of Truth! It takes a fearless heart to face the shadow dragon within, its fire shows no mercy to the heart heavier then a feather, but we must go through the alchemical fire to reach the inner path which leads to the rise of our true divine nature!” ~Alistar Valadez
